2017 Motorcycle Adventure to Alaska (Day five)

This was a wonderful morning to wake up to. The new ear plugs worked like a champ and despite crying babies, noisy trains and some yahoo with a bad muffler I was able to sleep like a baby all night. It's amazing how a good sleep can impact your life.
My camp ground in Moose Jaw had no wifi so my first priority after breakfast and a shave and shower was to hit the local Starbucks for a coffee and their wifi.
Ever since leaving Bracebridge I have struggled to add video content to my blog. It must have been fate that brought us together because a guy sitting next to me was the solution to my problem and helped me on and off for nearly three hours teaching me all the tricks to videography. On top of everything he showed me how to breath new life into a tired old Mac Book that I was blaming for all my computer issues.
I kept watching the time but his help was too precious and as a result I din't actually get out of Moose Jaw until 1:00 pm.
My plan was to get over the border into Alberta. I had a lot of ground to cover so the 110 km/h speed limit really came in handy. It turned into a scorcher of a day hitting 32C (90F) which is hot even on a motorcycle.

As you can see the terrain is very flat and the road very straight.

Here is a photo of my camp site in the Gas City Campground in Medicine Hat, Alberta. It had to be the nicest spot so far and my bathrooms and shower are right across the road. I felt like I was camped in a beautiful city park.
