Day Three
It was Saturday morning of the long weekend. It was raining on and off when I woke so the outside of the tent was wet and I was having a tough time deciding whether to stay or push on in the rain. Wasting a day sitting reading in a tent made no sense. I finally got away about noon after washing dishes, shaving, showering and packing up the camper. It turned out to be a good day after all and things began to clear some. By mid afternoon though I had about an hour of heavy rain before clearing again. I have been trying to avoid riding in the dusk thus reducing my chances of hitting any deer so by 5 or 5:30 I,m scoping out the next camp site. Just north of Rimouski I came across this big seafood restaurant/RV and tent park just off the highway 132 and right on the mighty St. Lawrence River.
It was a great site at a great rate of $20 including free WIFI. The tide was out so after dinner I strolled out onto the sea floor to watch the sun set.
