2016 Motorcycle Adventure (DAY Four)

Waking this morning a little late due to the time change (Central Time) I was greeted by a lovely clear blue sky and a light breeze with tons of sun. My first order of the day was to get my soggy clothing from the day before into a laundromat drier. I got the stack of quarters from the office, loaded the machine and headed back to my deluxe campsite to prepare breakfast. I couldn't put my boots in the drier so I bungee'd them onto the top of my cooler so they would air dry as I drove.
My destination was Sioux Falls, South Dakota which was about 6 1/2 hours ride northwest. The stay started out pretty toasty at 29'C (85'F) but by mid afternoon a strong westerly wind had come up and the temp. dropped to 24'C (75'F) so kind of a perfect day for riding.
The mid west freeway system takes you through some pretty flat territory with a lot of straight roads and a million acres of corn fields on both sides. Here are a few photos to give you an idea.

About 4:00 pm I looked at my GPS and still had 175 miles to go. My back was getting sore and I had seen all the corn one man needs to see in a lifetime so I spotted a KOA campground in Jackson, Minnesota and stopped for the day. Not wanting a late night I decided to grab a bite at a nearby restaurant that offered free wifi so I could eat and do my blog and get to bed early.
It's a gorgeous evening and I am hoping to get a beautiful sunset for a change. Not too eventful a day but after yesterday I wasn't in the mood for another adventure so soon.
