Day Fifteen

This was a rough morning. I woke to sunshine but before long it started raining, then more sun and then the rain. Packing up in the rain isn't fun but off I went north on the Trans Canada Hwy. (TCH) headed to Gros Morne National Park. The wind was crazy. It was cold, rainy and quite miserable.
The thing that struck me though was just the raw beauty that was everywhere. Check out these pictures.

I stopped in Cornerbrook for gas and a bite to eat but I was so cold I decided to look for the nearest Provincial park instead of going all the way to Gros Morne. The nearest park was the Sir Richard Squire Memorial Park. This was starting to look like a bad idea as the road turned to gravel and potholes and I still had 15 kms. to go. In the end it all worked out and I found a nice little campsite. Tomorrow I plan to explore the Gros Morne National Park depending on the weather as always.
